This time, due to the situation in Ukraine and COVID-19,
we have decided to forgo international shipping.
We sincerely apologize to our overseas customers.
The last Sock Club was three years ago....
At that time, there were no concerns about distribution,
and almost no possibility of not being able to procure materials.
Since the Sock Club runs over a long period,
if procurement cannot be guaranteed,
it would have been difficult to proceed after receiving payment in advance.
This time, we have confirmed that we can secure the planned yarn in advance,
so we have decided to resume it after a long break!
Last time, one of the regrets was that the content was not profitable,
which made operations a bit difficult. (No one asked, but I said it anyway)
This time, we have carefully considered the pricing to be profitable
and to offer highly satisfying content for everyone,
which has made the price quite a bit higher.
However, the content has been upgraded accordingly.
We have set the price by considering shipping costs for sending 100 items each time
and the soaring cost of materials.
Still, it's a bit more economical than purchasing the same items individually.
That's enough about money!
Even though Machiko Miro had designed a logo for the Sock Club,
it hadn't seen the light of day until now...
It's good that it finally can.
To ensure delivery in June,
I am now diligently dyeing with that beloved base.
The colors are still a work in progress.
In September, I plan to offer the very popular mini skein set.
The thought of dyeing 500 mini skeins is daunting,
but I will get through it in Bodhisattva mode (enlightenment).
November is also Sock Day (though it's uncertain if we'll make it in time),
and we plan to prepare another popular sock set!
Last year (and the year before), I suffered from summer fatigue,
so I decided to close during the summer starting this year.
After shipping the first Sock Club delivery in June,
I plan to have a slightly lighter shop update.
Including Lemon Socks and more!
After handling the highest number of orders ever in the previous limited-time sale,
I thought I would take a break for a while (I'm quick to give up),
but perhaps because I've been busy every day, I can't seem to do nothing.
Then, when I tried dyeing a bit, I thought, "This is fun!"
I truly love dyeing, it seems.
I didn't even realize it myself to this extent.
The Sock Club is a challenge for me.
I will do my best to bring excitement to all of you!
When all items are shipped at once, some customers will receive theirs earlier,
while others will receive theirs a little later, but
there are no specific rules regarding sharing on social media.
Feel free to upload anything you like.
If you're someone who might be disappointed by seeing it in advance,
you can either close your eyes and resist, or go ahead and take a peek—it's up to you!
