Hello,
It's finally starting to feel like autumn.
I'm not good with heat,
so I usually brace myself to get through July and August,
thinking it'll cool down by mid-September.
But this year, it was nearly 30 degrees Celsius until very recently,
and I felt like saying, "Summer, you're overstaying your welcome!"
Anyway, it's mid-October (today is the draft meeting!),
and we've successfully shipped the first installment of SockClub2019.
Dyeing the yarn is one thing,
but winding the minis, labeling each one,
and attaching the stickers was quite a bit of work.
There are two more shipments to go, a little further down the line,
but I'm ready to tackle them with enthusiasm.

This time, we chose Daily Sock as the base.
The mini is called "Caramel,"
and the 100g skein is called "Embroidery."
I've been very interested in embroidery lately,
though I haven't tried it yet.
I dyed this yarn with the feeling of wanting to try embroidery
while enjoying a piece of caramel.
One customer even commented that it resembled autumnal hydrangeas,
and indeed! The image I had in mind was a book cover
made from old linen fabric with plump botanical embroidery
in an antique, faded color scheme.

to see if anyone has started knitting with it.
That's a quick update on SockClub.
Knitting socks diligently every day
and thinking about which yarn and pattern to use next
is truly enjoyable!
Until next time,
Enjoy Sock Knitting!
