Difference between Single Merino and Skinny Single
Both are 1-ply. Single strand.
Single Merino (400m) is plump and similar to MDT's Merino Light.
Skinny Single (366m) has a tighter twist and a crisper feel.
Both have good dye absorption and minimal bleeding.
Single Merino feels fuller in hand for the same gram weight.
Both are suitable for garments and shawls and are not at all itchy.
They might not be suitable for socks. Since they are not plied, they don't have much stretch
and I don't think they are very resistant to abrasion.
Difference between Merino Sock and Merino Sock Springy
Both are sock yarns with excellent elasticity.
Merino Sock (400m) is 4-ply, so the stitches are easier to keep even than 1-ply.
Merino Sock Springy (365m) is 2-ply, giving the fabric a more casual feel.
It's very easy to knit brioche with, as the stitches are even and the yarn doesn't split.
Both are versatile and suitable for garments and shawls.
This yarn has milder colors than Single, and speckles tend to bleed a little more.
Merino Lace and Merino DK
Merino Lace is a 1-ply superwash merino wool.
It's suitable for knitting lace weight shawls. It's 100g, 800m.
It's easy to knit with, and the yarn doesn't split easily.
Merino DK is a 4-ply superwash merino wool.
For garments knitted with about 400g, it feels light and is not at all itchy.
It's a plump yarn, easy to knit with, and has good elasticity.
ten
In May, my beloved Mirokomachiko-san
created the LemonJellyPool logo for me.
The logo mark is the animal "ten" (marten).
I dyed this yarn with the image of "ten" in mind.
This color was dyed for an event, so this is its first time being sold on the website.
This color is available in Kidmohair Silk.
Kid Mohair Silk - Kid Mohair 72% Silk 28% Lace weight 1ply 420 m/50g - ¥2800 per skein (excluding tax)
