Announcement of Daruma Sock Sales

Daruma Sock

It's been about three years now, but

I had the opportunity to dye Daruma's Superwash Merino

sock yarn.

I had knitted with the same yarn sold in stores

and loved it for being easy to knit and comfortable to wear.

Somehow, I couldn't dye it the way I wanted,

so I tried dyeing it a few more times later on,

and even had my "swimmer" (test knitter) try it out, but

it just didn't quite click, so I put it aside.

I think people would still like it if I sold it as is,

but I'm just not entirely satisfied with it myself.

The yarn isn't bad, of course!

With that said,

this time,

for the shop update in May 2021,

I tried dyeing the color "Tobali" again.

And it turned out great.

At Lemon Jelly Pool,

I named it Daruma Sock (haha, just as it is).

It's a popular yarn,

and its quality is guaranteed.

Once I get a bit more comfortable with this yarn,

I'd like to start dyeing it more gradually.

From DARUMA:

This yarn was specially made for knitting socks, with careful attention to material and twist count. Its features include a thickness suitable for wearing shoes, a strong twist that resists pilling, machine washability without shrinking, and the warmth characteristic of 100% wool. By knitting a dense fabric with size 0 or 1 needles, you can ensure long-lasting wear.
