Shop Update and Announcements

It's been a while since my last blog update.

I woke up this morning and it was already over 30 degrees Celsius.

The rainy season was long this year,

so if we can just bear the heat for another month,

autumn awaits us.

Let's all do our best together!

Now,

the next shop update is on

Saturday, August 15th at 8:00 PM

This time, the main feature is

Lemon Sock.

44% SW Merino / 22.5% Cotton / 22.5% Nylon / 11% Silk

Fingering weight

400m/100g

Ever since I knitted with this base two years ago,

from early spring to autumn,

I've been wearing socks knitted with Lemon Sock almost every day.

It feels refreshing, yet

a little moist,

and since it contains merino, it's easy to knit with.

It's durable and resistant to pilling and friction.

Since it's a cotton blend, it's harder for the colors to take

compared to 100% merino yarn,

but that's what gives it its unique character, which is nice.

Here are the colors that will be available in the update.

Speckles have been added to blend with the adjacent colors.

Notice

Due to the impact of the coronavirus,

it is currently difficult to procure raw yarn and dyes as usual.

Therefore, we have decided to postpone the SockClub, which was scheduled for autumn,

this season. We sincerely apologize to customers who were looking forward to it.

For club-like projects,

payment is typically collected in advance.

However, we cannot guarantee the availability of raw yarn several months in advance,

and since we dye large quantities of the same color,

the difficulty in securing dyes prevents us from dyeing a consistent amount, which is why we have no choice but to cancel.

Instead, we plan to sell many sock sets.

We have taken this opportunity to procure sock bases that we haven't handled before,

so we intend to dye exciting sock yarns for the autumn!

Popular bases like Merino Sock are also difficult to obtain,

and if we are able to procure a bulk order,

we will consider accepting pre-orders again,

but for now, we plan to continue with regular sales.

Also, due to personal circumstances, I apologize,

but there may be a slight delay in shipping

due to supporting a family member's hospitalization.

We will ship within 1-3 business days,

but there is a possibility that it may take longer than usual.

We appreciate your understanding.

Thank you for your continued support of Jeripu (it's been a while!) and the shop update!
