March 22nd - Shop Update
We have prepared many sock sets.
If you're unsure, I think buying just one sock set will be very satisfying.
The sock sets are made from
four types of bases:
・Merino Sock
・Daily Sock
・Job Sock
・Tough Sock
For detailed explanations of the bases, please see here.
For each property, left is better ↓
■ Softness to the touch
Merino Sock > Daily Sock > Job Sock = Tough Sock
■ Durability
Tough Sock = Job Sock > Daily Sock > Merino Sock
■ Elasticity/Stretchiness
Tough Sock is the best!
■ Color vibrancy
Merino Sock = Daily Sock > Job Sock = Tough Sock
All except Merino Sock are nylon blends (20-25%).
Nylon blends are definitely more durable.
Merino Sock is recommended for those who dislike nylon
or prefer a soft texture.
Job and Tough
use Bluefaced Leicester wool, which is different from Merino,
and initially has a crisp, dry feel.
When washed, the yarn itself fluffs up with air and intertwines,
causing the fabric to tighten.
I usually dislike scratchy yarn, but this is fine.
Especially in winter, I naturally reach for BFL bases because they are warm and durable.
The difference between Job and Tough is the twist.
Merino, Daily, and Job are 4-ply (twisted with 4 strands) at 400, 425m/100g.
Only Tough is 2-ply (twisted with 2 strands) at 365m/100g.
Each set includes 100g and 20g.
Only the Tough set has a Job Sock mini.
Otherwise, all other sets have the same 100g and 20g bases.
Pages are created by color,
and within each, quantities are set for each base.
In addition to the color combinations introduced,
we have many others available.

Laine Magazine has released a wonderful sock book, and
I've created sets to knit my beloved Emily's Favourite Socks beautifully.
Many of the 20g mini skeins this time come in familiar colors.
If you have a little left over, you can mix them to make other socks or
Inogaya's socks—
Oh, how fun socks are!
We will also be holding a sock club around autumn,
so let's enjoy socks together!
