The next shop update is

Hello.

It's been a while since I updated my blog.

Thank you for your patience.

The next shop update will be on

Saturday, February 3rd, at 8 PM.

I originally intended to update more frequently, but

the previous Goma-shio Project was so well-received by everyone,

and thanks to that,

it was Goma-shio, then Goma-shio, then Goma-shio...

all throughout November.

And then Rum Raisin, then Rum Raisin, then Rum Raisin...

all throughout December and January.

I was continuously dyeing these dotted and speckled yarns forever (that's a lie).

Now for the next update,

there are no particularly new projects,

but I've dyed some colors at my leisure.

First, an announcement about made-to-order sales.

========================================

Easter ♡ Cupcake

========================================

This is in Easter colors.

I considered various names like "Spring Garden in Bloom" or "Tea Party,"

but I couldn't get away from the image of Easter eggs.

While this photo appears bright,

the impression changes depending on the base, so

I will provide as many images as possible on the product page for each.

I hope you'll take your time to browse through them.

SingleMerino, Skinny Single, Merino Sock,

MerinoSockSpringy, Merino Lace, Merino DK

You can choose from 6 types. All are ¥2700 including tax.

========================================

Vihta

========================================

You know how in Finnish saunas,

you beat yourself with a bundle of birch branches?

That's what the name refers to.

You can also choose from these 6 types. All are ¥2700 including tax.

Easter ♡ Cupcake and Vihta will also be available for general sale.

There's a fair amount (I think), so

if the base and quantity meet your preferences, you can purchase them there too.

========================================

Honey Pecan

========================================

For a long, long time, I've been looking for a hazelnut-like color,

or rather, a golden-brown color,

a golden nut color, and after many failed attempts,

I finally arrived at this color here ↓

This color, when used as a trim or accent in a shawl,

I think it will instantly make it look sophisticated and high-end.

When I dyed and knitted with it myself,

my hands turned completely yellow,

so I thought, "This won't do!" and

made repeated improvements.

Even so, it requires five times more dye than a normal Solid color,

and it only dyes beautifully one skein at a time.

*Of course, I think it's also a matter of my technique.

Therefore, I can't dye too many and have them left over,

nor can I respond to many orders at once,

so this will be a limited made-to-order sale.

It's possible that if the limited quantity is reached within the period, you might not be able to purchase it.

I'm truly sorry (bows).

Also, although I rinse it thoroughly and repeatedly,

there's a slight possibility of color bleeding.

As for regular sales....

========================================

Guimauve

========================================

As I wrote on Instagram,

this is also a color I tried before but couldn't get the ideal shade in one go,

so I let it rest for a while.

This time, after a bit of trial and error, I was able to dye it beautifully.

The name comes from a marshmallow-like confection in France,

a chewy sweet made from fruit juice and gelatin.

It's not a macaron or a meringue, it's guimauve.

========================================

Kabuki

========================================

When I first opened, I wanted to create something Japonism-like for overseas customers,

so I dyed Kabuki-Senpai with a gold obi, deep green, red, black, and orange speckles.

For domestic customers, there were custom orders or a few dyed items,

but it hadn't been developed further after that.

Looking back, I thought, "That's cool," so

I dyed it again.

When incorporated into shawls or other projects with multiple colors,

it creates an elegant finish.

As you can see in the photo, the gold can appear strong or not,

so if you have a strong preference, please leave a comment when ordering,

and I will do my best to select a color from the stock that matches your request.

========================================

Rye

========================================

This is the color of rye ears.

I dyed this with the intention of using it in combination with Honey Pecan.

Looking at it this way, I guess golden colors are the theme this time.

Tartine

========================================

When I first visited Paris,

I'll never forget the感動(deep emotion) of my longed-for breakfast: a baguette with Echire butter

and fruit-preserve-style strawberry jam.

The Parisian breakfast I admired repeatedly in Olive magazine.

I even bought a café au lait bowl after visiting brocantes.

That was a long preamble.

Tartine, I think, originally means something like "to spread on top,"

but for me, it evokes the image of strawberry jam.

However, since just being sweet would be boring,

it has a bitter brown accent.

When knitting, such dark colors really stand out. Yes.

This is a limited quantity, so

if there's anyone who says, "I want it!",

please contact me.

I love KidSilkMohair, so I'll stock more of it.

And a little more

a remnant of the Goma-shio project and

some of my favorite colors have been dyed.

I apologize for the delay in updating the blog,

as I was requested to "hurry up" but hadn't finished taking photos.

From now until the shop update,

I have a mountain of work to do.

I've received feedback that items are out of stock and hard to get,

and for customers who are new visitors and have recently become interested,

I will offer past colors as made-to-order sales. (I've committed to it!)

The dates will be staggered from the shop update,

but details will be announced on Instagram and this blog!

Look forward to that too!

PS: Addendum

For purchases made during the Saturday update,

regular shipments (excluding made-to-order sales) will commence on Monday, February 5th,

and be dispatched sequentially.

We appreciate your understanding.
