The next update is on November 12th at 8 PM JST!

Finally, I can announce an update.

That's not to say I've been busy,

but rather, I attended Isager's workshop,

couldn't dye due to unstable weather,

and wanted to knit, wanted to knit so badly,

that I knitted and knitted (this is the main reason).

I love dyeing,

but my house is small right now, so I can't dye large quantities.

I'm planning to build a house a little further down the line,

and I'd like to make a small studio there

so I can dye more.

Also,

regarding shop updates, I sometimes target specific dates and times set by other indie dyers and

shops myself, but I also feel that yarn shouldn't really be bought that way.

Since it's an online shop, you can't pick it up and look at it, so it might sound like I'm

"presumptuous for saying this," but I really want to choose a pattern to knit slowly,

and then take my time and lovingly knit it.

Of course, it's also fine to choose the yarn you like first and then

find a pattern that matches it.

So, regarding limited-time offers and getting swept up in them,

I want to distance myself a little more and

not buy based purely on desire or impulse,

but rather to carefully choose what I truly want, considering my own pace and new challenges.

These days, I often think about this with a sense of self-admonition.

I apologize for writing such a long, presumptuous message, especially as a seller.

The next shop update will be

Sunday, November 12th, at 8 PM.

This time (again!), as mentioned above,

the quantity is small.

However, I have dyed some yarns that I thought would be nice for knitting warm colors in winter,

as well as mohair that adds nuance to colorful shawls, etc.

Kamifusen (Paper Balloon)

Inspired by the paper balloons given by a Toyama pharmacist.
This mohair is a nostalgic and cheerful bright yellow.

cotton candy

Fluffy, sweet cotton candy.

RumRaisin

I really liked rum raisin this time,
so it's also available in mohair!

Bisque

Named after creamy lobster bisque.
It's a persimmon-like color,
but also a slightly savory orange.
Using such a chic orange at the edge of a shawl
would instantly make it more sophisticated.

indian spice

This is also a slightly spicy accent color.
It's a golden yellow.
Contains spice-like specks of orange and moss green.

cosmic soda

Cosmic soda color to drink in space.
Please don't worry too much about the meaning anymore.
It's an intuition...

Other colors are also available.

And!

Gomashio Project

As I wrote in the previous blog,
I've been thinking about what unique things I can do with hand-dyed yarn,
so this is an attempt to create a gradation by applying light and dark shades of a single color,
whether you call it a fade or an ombre.

There are four colors (or strictly speaking, five colors),
and you can choose your preferred color, base, and number of skeins from them.
Of course! Even one skein is fine (though it won't fade...).

As shown in the image above, you select the base and color,
and then enter the desired quantity to add to your cart.

We've also prepared new MerinoDK and MerinoSockMini (4-ply).
Mini is 50g. It can be used by sock knitters or for small items.
Also, if for a certain color you only need "50g,"
it would be convenient to combine MerinoSock100g with Mini.

The Gomashio Project will be available for pre-order (until 11/17).
The first batch, "Gomashio," is scheduled for delivery by the end of the year.
The second batch, "Rum Raisin," is scheduled for delivery in January 2018.

Future Announcements

As I mentioned earlier,
to allow you to calmly and slowly choose the yarn you want
and have it delivered to you,
I'm considering selling previous colors by order.
Also, subscribers to the newsletter will receive
special coupons and access to exclusive pages.
So, if you haven't already, please subscribe to the newsletter!
*Even customers who have purchased in the past or registered as members
will not receive them if they are not subscribed to the newsletter.
This is because sending to everyone would not allow for those who wish to only stop the newsletter.

This time, the shop update is on Sunday night,
so shipments are scheduled for the beginning of next week.
Please look forward to it!
